Evergreen School of Ballet at Marshdale!

Starting Thursday, September 7th, 2:35-4:00, ESB will be offering fun combo dance classes at Marshdale.

Each class will include instruction in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, and modern dance. 

FAQs: 

Q: Are these classes for all genders?

A: Yes!! ESB has lots of boys in our classes. Every student is welcome.

Q: How much is it?

A: $90 per month.

Q: Are there discounts?

A: 5% off for 2 students from same family and Guard/Reserve, 10% off for 3 or more and for active duty military.

Q: Do I have to sign up for a whole year?

A: No. Enrollment is month-to-month. We ask that if you're going to drop you give us two weeks notice so we can invite someone from the waiting list.

Q: If I miss a class. Are there make-ups?

A: Marshdale students will be welcome to drop in on an appropriate class at ESB's studios in Evergreen for make-ups.

Q: What's the attire?

A: Comfortable clothes. Tights or shorts are ideal so the teacher can see the legs. Hair needs to be out of the face in a bun or a pony. Any students who want ballet shoes, ideal for all of the styles, can get them from ESB at a discount.

Q: How many will be in the class?

A: Minimum of 5 and maximum of 15.

Q: Where will the classes be?

A: In the Music Room.

Danielle Faller

Miss Danielle completed her BA in dance at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, where she studied and trained in various techniques.  Throughout her college career, she trained in ballet, modern, musical theater, jazz, and counter-technique.  She performed and choreographed for her student and faculty dance concerts each year, and was a part of the SIUE Dance Company.  She was also a cast member in Chicago the Musical.  Danielle received a scholarship to the Backhaus Summer Dance Intensive 2019 at Chapman University where she participated in a wide variety of classes, and trained and performed with their dance company at the end of the intensive.  She has also attended the American College Dance Association conference, where she performed at the final gala.  Danielle has years of experience teaching ballet, modern, improvisation, and musical theater to ages kindergarten-adult.  She has also taught a summer musical theater/dance workshop over Zoom.  Aside from teaching and performing, she has also organized a fundraiser event where she gathered local musicians and dancers to perform and raise money for the Amazon rainforest.  Danielle loves to perform, teach students, has a passion for singing, songwriting, playing guitar, and caring for animals!

Gabby Giles

Miss Gabby is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began her training with Philadelphia Dance
Theater under the direction of Joy Delaney Capponi. Gabby continued her dance training at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where she received a BFA in ballet and
an English minor. While in college, she danced with the Richmond Ballet for two years as a
trainee and performed classics such as Serenade, The Nutcracker, and Swan Lake. She was
also a company member of Kim Robards Dance. Gabby has worked with artists such as Pablo
Francisco Ruvalcaba, Colin Connor, Malcolm Burn, Jerri Kumery, Jasmine Grace and Deirdre
Carberry during her professional career. Gabby is currently dancing with 3rd Law
Dance/Theater as of Fall 2023. Miss Gabby teaches Ballet and Contemporary at the Evergreen
School of Ballet.
