NEW Mini-Dancers

Ages 2.5-3.5.  No previous training. Emphasis is on creative movement and following directions. Offered 3:15-3:55 on Wednesday.  $60/month for one weekly class

Pre - Ballet

Ages 3.5-4.5.  No previous training. Emphasis is on basic ballet positions, steps, and creative movement.   Offered 4:00-4:40 on Friday (B) and 10:00-10:40 on Saturday (B).  $60/month for one weekly class.

Beginning Ballet
Ages 5-8.  Basic ballet technique, stretching, and vocabulary with little or no prior training.  Offered Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:00-4:50 (B). Wednesday class is Beginner+!

Beginning Tap

Offered 4:00-5:00 on Friday (B). Ages 5 and up. Those students just starting out will end class at 4:45. The more advanced students will remain until 5:00.

Beginning Hip-Hop

Offered 4:00-4:50 on Thursday (B). Ages 5 and up.

Focusing on basic hip hop movement and rhythm as well as basic strength and coordination. Have some fun and learn some fun tricks.

Kids Capoeira

Offered Tuesdays, 4:00-4:50 (A). Age 12 and under. Combines dance and minimal contact martial arts.

Capoeira

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian minimal contact martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, music and spirituality. Born of the melting pot of enslaved Africans, Indigenous Brazilians, and Portuguese influences at the beginning of the 16th century, capoeira is a constantly evolving art form. It is known for its acrobatic and complex maneuvers, often involving hands on the ground and inverted kicks. It emphasizes flowing movements rather than fixed stances. Offered Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 (A). 

 

Ballet 1
Ages 5-8. Developing ballet technique and combinations, stretching, and vocabulary with 1-2 years prior training.  Offered Monday, 4:00-5:00 (B).  

     

Ballet 2
Ages 6-10.  Beginner-intermediate.  2-3 years prior training. Enrollment in Boys Class/Junior Partnering and/or Basic Contemporary is recommended.  Offered 4:50-5:50, Wednesday (B).

 

NEW Boy’s Class/Jr. Partnering

Ages 6 and up. 2-3 years training.

Focus on the unique skills needed by young male dancers. Intro to partnering for younger boys and girls. Offered 4:50-5:50, Friday (B).

​​Ballet 3
Ages 7 and up. Intermediate. 3-4 years prior training. Two ballet classes/week required.  Contemporary and/or Boy's Class/Jr. Partnering recommended. Offered 5:00-6:00 on Tuesday (B), and Thursday (B).

​Ballet 4 

Ages 10 and up. Intermediate/Advanced. 4-5 years prior training. Three ballet classes/week required. Contemporary recommended.   Offered 5:00-6:00 on Monday (B). Wednesday (A), and Friday (A).

Ballet 5 

Ages 12 and up. 5 or more years prior training. Minimum three ballet classes/week required but Contemporary and other classes  are recommended.   Offered 5:00-6:20 on Monday (A) with Jennifer Grace, 5:00-6:00 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (A).  Dancers not on Unlimited Tuition who are taking Jennifer's class only: $180/month.

Beginning Pointe/Pre-Pointe 

Offered 6:00-7:00 on Tuesday (B). 

Advanced Pointe 

Offered 6:00-7:00 on Tuesday (A). 

NEW Beginning Contemporary

Incorporates elements of ballet and modern dance.  Offered 6:00-6:50 on Wednesday (B).  Must be in Ballet 1 or 2.

NEW Beginning Jazz/Musical Theater

Offered 4:00-4:50 on Wednesday (A).  Must be in Beginning or Ballet 1.

Intermediate Contemporary

Incorporates elements of classical ballet and modern dance.  Offered 6:00-7:00 on Thursday (B) . Must be in Ballet 3 or 4.

Advanced Contemporary

Incorporates elements of classical ballet and modern dance.  Offered 6:00-7:00 on Thursday (A) . Must be in Ballet 4 or 5.

Junior Ballet Variations Prep

A class for young ballet dancers to prepare them for international competitions.  Dancers will learn variations from classical ballets.   Ballet 2 and up.   Offered 6:00-7:00, Wednesday (A).

Variations

Intense instruction for advanced dancers to prepare them to perform Variations and to compete at YAGP, UBC, and other elite competitions.  Offered 6:30-8:00 on Monday.  Jennifer Grace, ESB Artist-in-Residence and Principal Dancer with the Colorado Ballet. Space is limited. 

Adult Ballet

For adults of all ages.  Offered 9:30-10:30 on Tuesday.  Used to dance?  Join us!  Want to learn ballet? Join us!  Want to continue growing as a dancer?  Join us!  These are "no judgment" classes where we let adults experience the joy of ballet and maybe get in the best shape of their lives.

NEW Also offered 10:00-11:00 on Saturday.

Stretch and Conditioning
Open to ages 6 and up.  This is a specialized class designed for dancers who really want to take their training to the next level. The concentration will be on improving flexibility and strengthening all muscle groups needed for dance.  This is also a great class for gymnasts, skaters, martial artists, and athletes of all types and ages.  Offered 6:00-7:00 on Friday (A).

Competition Prep

Intense private instruction for dancers to prepare them to perform classical and/or contemporary solos and to compete at YAGP, UBC, Reverb, Gravit8, and other elite competitions. 

Young dancers 3:15-3:45, Monday, Tuesday,  Friday.

Advanced dancers 7:00-8:00, Wednesday-Friday. Other times available as needed.

 

Monthly Tuition for Classes (except Pre-Ballet, Beginning Classes, and Kids Capoeira)

     $80 for one weekly class

     $140 for two weekly classes

     $200 for three weekly classes

     $250 for four weekly classes

     $295 for five weekly classes

     $335 for six weekly classes

NOTE: If not on Unlimited Classes Tuition, each of Jennifer Grace's classes will be $60/month extra.

Monthly Tuition for Beginning Classes (Ballet, Tap, Hip-hop, Contemporary, and Kids Capoeira)

     $70 for one weekly class

     $120 for two weekly classes

For more advanced dancers wishing to progress at a rapid rate, we offer unlimited lessons.  Jennifer Grace's classes are included in this price. Privates and Competition Prep are not included.

Private/Semi-Private Instruction
Private sessions for those wanting a more intensive experience focused on the dancer's needs.  Open to all ages and ability levels.  By appointment only.

     $85 per hour with Jennifer Grace

     $80 per hour with Courtney Dagayev and Brieanna Olson

     $75 per hour with ESB faculty if not enrolled in classes

     $65 per hour discounted rate with ESB faculty if enrolled in other ESB classes

     Semi-privates 55% of instructor rate per student
